A peice from my personal collection offered for sale in my solo show at the Detroit Athletic club titled "To be Present: With and Without Permission".  This work is presented at the DAC because of Yamasaki's connection to the city of Detroit. He created several buildings on Wayne State's campus, and downtown Detroit. I think the idea of presenting a "vandalized" blueprint by an iconic Asian American architect who cut his teeth in Detroit speaks to my work in the city and globally, while speaking to the concept of permission.
